Association Nights

Join Coon Rapids Youth Hockey at our upcoming Association Nights for Gopher & Wild games!

Watch the Gopher Men's Hockey game against Penn State on Friday February 9th (it is confirmed that we don't have ice for any levels at CRIC or Super Rink that evening) at Mariucci.  Tickets are only $15 as part of our association ticket block. Discounted presale will be ending on Sunday December 3rd.  All players & families are welcome to attend!

We have also lined up an Association Day for the Minnesota Wild!  CRYHA has a block of tickets for the April 6th game against Winnipeg.  Tickets will be $70 each, located in the upper deck end.

Upcoming Community Events at CRIC

  • December 2nd - Military Appreciation Night at the MN Blue Ox Game 7pm @ CRIC

  • December 5th - Youth Night at CRIC with CRHS Hockey

  • December 9th is the annual tree lighting ceremony at CRIC. This event will take place from 3:30 to 6 pm. There will be *Fireworks * Pictures with Santa * Bring your letter for Santa * Treats * Bonfires and much more! This event is FREE to the public and hosted by the Community Strength Foundation

  • December 16th - Hockey Day CR! (outdoor games with CR HS Boys and CPCR Girls) at CRIC

Charitable Gambling 

We are excited to welcome Buffalo Wild Wings in Coon Rapids as our new Charitable Gambling partner! Paper Pull Tabs and E-tabs are now available at this location with proceeds from these games being donated to CRYHA! When you visit there, please thank them for using Coon Rapids Youth Hockey!

Please Welcome Our New Secretary!

Kristin Hultquist has been appointed our new Secretary of the CRYHA board of directors. Read this note from Kristin to find out a little more about her: 

"I have one kid (Drew-8). This is his 4th year playing hockey and he is a C-mite. Drew got into skating by grabbing the mail out of the mailbox one day and seeing a postcard from CRYHA. He ran up the driveway smiling and saying “I want to play hockey!” while waving the flyer in the air.... And here we are lol. For me, I honestly just wanted to get more involved and be a part of Drew’s interests. I signed up to be his team manager this year. I work at TruStone Home Mortgage as our Administrative Assistant, so when the position of the secretary opened up and a few people from the association reached out to me, I thought it would be a good fit. I’m hoping that everything will be a smooth transition for everyone and that I will be able to learn and grow with the association."

Thank you to Kristin for stepping into this important role. We are grateful for all the wonderful volunteers who dedicate their time to keep our association up and running!
