2010 Summer Mite & U8 Camp

Rob Potter's 2010 Pure Hockey Camp

6/16/10 - Update - Due to the positive response, some of the times need to be shifted/combined in order to make the camp work.  Please see the updated schedule below.

2010 Jr. Cardinal Camp

Background:  Junior Cardinal Camp was developed to make it affordable to start playing Hockey. Our intention is to generate interest for new Boys and Girls Hockey Players in the city of Coon Rapids. The camp is limited to the first 40 registrations that need equipment. Equipment is only available to kids in the Coon Rapids High School boundaries.

Instruction: We have developed a fun format that will enable players to learn to skate and improve at a fast rate while learning to love the game.

This camp is for all beginner players ages 4 – 10.

Cost: $25.00.  The $25.00 fee includes the camp and all the equipment necessary to play hockey in Coon Rapids (Skates, Knee Pads, Breezers, Socks, Gloves, Shoulder Pads, Helmet with Mask).

6-Week Dryland Training Program

District 10 Hockey Board

Dryland Facility Reservations
Dryland facility reservations are done by the Team Managers.  Team managers should have an admin access user ID and Password (available from Cindy St. John).  Once this is obtained, click on "Website Admin" to the left of the home page, enter your user ID and password, then click on "Dryland Facility" in the upper left corner of the page.  Find the date and time you want and click on "Reserve".

Cook Arena Pro Shop
Cook Arena is offering some great deals on skate sharpening. You can get your skates sharpened while you wait for $4 or for $3 by leaving them overnight. You can also take advantage of a $20 prepaid card good for 7 sharpenings. Cook Arena Pro Shop also has a full assortment of tape, laces, mouth guards, skate guards and helmet parts. Stop by and support our arena!
   
Equipment Needed
Used equipment is needed to help recruiting efforts within the CRYHA.  If you have any used equipment, ESPECIALLY Mite age equipment, please consider donating it to the CRYHA.  If you can help in any way, please contact Bob Auman at rcauman@lowells.net. Also, if you have any equipment on loan from the association, please contact Bob to have it turned back in.
   
Food Perspectives Fundraising

Do you like food and want to get paid to eat it? Try taste testing for Food Perspectives. Food Perspectives is a program that allows people to make money for themselves and an organization of their choice. You can earn up to $21-$35 each time you participate and $9 will also be donated to CRYHA. If interested, visit this website:  http://www.fpitesters.com/ and follow the online instructions.  When you get to the field to enter an organization name, type in Coon Rapids Youth Hockey Association.  As you begin typing the field will auto-fill, and you can then click on the name to attach your file to your organization.  If you currently are a Food Perspectives panelist, please state that on the application by saying you would like to transfer your organization to CRYHA.  Any questions, Please call Bill Kiecker @ 780-0785 or Darcy Hanson @ 783-0703.

   
Equipment Swap

Do you have used hockey equipment that you might like to sell to other Coon Rapids Association members?  Check out the Equipment Swap section of the website.  This feature allows our members to post "for sale" ads of used equipment.  Clean out your garage or closet, let other members get some use of that equipment.  Email Cindy St. John (rczstjohn@comcast.net) if you have questions.
